Soft Pastel Fundamentals - Exploring Warm & Cool Subjects
FOUR SESSIONS: Monday MORNING Workshop

    OPTIONAL USER FEE: $15.00 (use of instructor's soft pastels)
    OPTIONAL PURCHASE: $2.00 (2 sheets of Mi Teintes paper)

    Through exploring this fascinating medium students will discover the unique properties and qualities of soft pastel, in essence, dry paint.

    During the class sessions we will complete two pieces of art: 1) a painting depicting warm dominating colours, and 2) a painting depicting cool colours.

    About the Artist:

    Born in Barrie in 1958, Richard has been painting and drawing since he was ten years old, developing his abilities on a self-taught basis until enrolling in the Fine Arts Department at the Ontario College of Arts four year program.

    Since graduating in 1990, Richard has since opened and operated a small business in Orillia, Ontario.
