the Barrie Art Club’s 75th Anniversary Gala

About the Gala

Come to the Barrie Art Club’s 75th Anniversary Gala and connect with a thriving community of artists and art lovers!

Founded in 1949, the Barrie Art Club (BAC) has flourished through the decades—during a time when rock 'n roll was born and bold artists like Pollock and de Kooning were reshaping the art world. From poodle skirts to Ford Thunderbirds, so much has changed, but our passion for art endures.

This milestone event will showcase local talent through a Silent Auction, live art demonstrations, and exciting performances, with locally crafted trophies honouring the evening’s winners. Join us in this exclusive celebration of 75 years of creativity, community, and artistic expression.

Mark your calendar for the Barrie Art Club 75th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Liberty North, 1-100 Caplan Avenue, Barrie.

For Your Entertainment!

MC Sarah Freeman from CTV News Barrie

Barrie’s bright and spunky CTV anchor, Sarah Freemark, a 15 year television veteran, joins us as Master of Ceremony.
Stemming from her passion for the arts, at only sixteen she transitioned from musical theatre into volunteer on-camera work at Cogeco Cable in her hometown, Renfrew, Ontario, where she was born and raised. After graduating from Seneca College, she worked as a videographer before stepping into the role of host for the nationally broadcast business series, CEO-TV. Sarah then spent the next three years traveling to the US, UK, Germany and Australia presenting for Estee Lauder on various shopping channels. Sarah reported, anchored and hosted CTV Morning Live Ottawa for eight years while hosting Majic100 radio.  She then re-launched Breakfast Television Calgary as lead anchor and reporter for City News where she covered the US election, massive hail storms and the daily COVID-19 pandemic reports by the prime minister.
Sarah joined the CTV Barrie team in 2022 from CTV Northern Ontario.
