- Open House being held at the Barrie Art Club
What: BAC artists will be painting LIVE in various locations within the downtown library to paint the world around them, engage in conversation about their work, and promote Barrie Art Club. Where: You’ll see them at the Cafe side of the lobby, in front of the New and Featured collections, and the Reading Garden. Description: Since 1949, Barrie Art Club has been championing local artists and working to make Barrie a vibrant home for arts and culture. Visit the Downtown Library from September 19th to 26th, where a variety of live artists from the club will be setting up their easels to explore their creativity and paint, engaging in conversation about their work, and offering information on 'all' the Barrie Art Club has to offer. |
Where: ONLINE using the Zoom App (with registration, link will be emailed prior to the start of the workshops) Instructor & Subject: Chari-Lynn Reithmeier / Zentangle Basics Description: Barrie Art Club is offering FREE participation in our Zentangle ONLINE workshop with our talented certified Zentangle instructor Chari-Lynn Reithmeier.This workshop will be offered online with the choice of TWO DIFFERENT DAYS AND TIMES, please select either the daytime option or evening from the links below. Choose the day and time that works best for you. We can accommodate up to 100 participants per workshop. Zentangle is a very relaxing form of art and few supplies are required. Take this opportunity to join us and experience this meditative, rewarding form of art.
