In this class we will be painting a quintessential Ontario lake landscape with a misty distant background and tall pines over the water in the foreground. The light will be shining through the trees. Attendees will learn creating atmospheric perspective, creating misty backgrounds and painting tall pines loosely. We will be examining this reference photo and incorporating what we believe will make a good composition.

Adele Partington, Watercolour Artist. She truly enjoy the beauty of painting in watercolour, and calls it her therapy! She loves that it can be loose and impressionistic, or tight and detailed. She has participated in the Coldwater Studio Tour, Art on the Dock, Bala Art Show and the Tiny Art Collective shows. She has been published and won awards through the magazine “Art in Color” and “international Watercolour” and the International Watercolour Society of Canada. She has won two awards as part of Bala Plein Art Show including People’s Choice. She teaches watercolour classes and truly enjoy helping others on their watercolour journey.
