Art Therapy for the Brain Using Your Non-dominant Hand
SINGLE 3 HR. SESSION: Wednesday AFTERNOON Workshop
We’re all aware that exercise is good for the body, but how often do you exercise your brain? Do you find that you’re spending too much time on details and you’d like to loosen up your style? This fun class will give your painting a jolt, early spring tonic. During this lesson you’ll challenge your drawing and painting skills, and open your mind up to a whole new world of creativity.
About the Artist:
Art has always been a part of Sharon's life and for many years she traveled and taught throughout Canada and the United States, and as far as Japan. Still life is one of the first art forms that she became involved in before moving on to discover the worlds of plein air and portraiture. Sharon has always felt that once you've learned to accurately draw what you see, you can then apply colour to create light, shadow and depth. This is the path that Sharon walks and she would love to share it with others who are adventurous.
