We will be creating a graphite drawing focusing on the barn and building up its surroundings with trees, bushes, grasses and fences.

You will learn about perspectives and techniques, in a fun and easy approach in creating a simple, yet beautiful drawing. You CAN draw. You’ll be amazed!

About the Artist:

Diane is a seasoned artist, born in Montreal and currently living in Barrie. She studied at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and Commercial Arts at Dawson College in the 70’s.

She manages to incorporate the technical and graphic aspects of commercial art with her fine art abilities when creating a drawing. Diane enjoys all the little details to make her work “lifelike” in an easy, simplistic, yet charming way.

She also enjoys painting with acrylics, but overall, her favourite medium to work with is graphite.

Diane takes great pride in her artwork and commissioned pieces.
