Robert Strickland will demonstrate his technique while discussing the key concepts in painting. Students will learn about shape, value, form, design, edge and colour.

Robert will discuss and demonstrate classical techniques from art history. Through his teaching you will learn how to develop your own voice within the language of painting.

About the Artist:

Robert initially studied at Sheridan College where he learnt about Illustration. He was awarded the Chalmers Professional Development Grant from the OAC and studied in the U.S. from top contemporary realist painters. He gained recognition from numerous painting competitions, societies and magazines for his achievements in representational art. Robert is represented by the esteemed Roberts Gallery, known for their dealings with the Group of Seven.
