Create a better painting by understanding the importance of perspective in art. Students will review and use the principles of linear, spacial and atmospheric perspective while painting a city or rural landscape.

About the Artist:

Murray Van Halem is an urban landscape artist, portrait painter and educator who lives in Victoria Harbour, Ontario. A graduate of the Montreal School of Modern Photography, he began his arts career as a large-format commercial photographer and worked as a photo-journalist, editor, writer and real estate broker. Murray now explores light, form and space through paint.
