Consider and explore different approaches to texture:  Texture "beneath a painting", texture "in a painting", and texture "as a painting".

About the Artist

Barbara Stofast is an acrylic artist who lives in Barrie Ontario.  She has a deep love for the forests, lakes and rivers of Ontario and all things wild and growing.  She works out of her home studio making unique paintings that straddle the line between 2- and 3-dimensional work.  Her sculptural acrylic paintings incorporate found organic material, fabrics, and papers, the occasional animal bone...  She approaches each unique work as an adventure and an exploration.

An exhibit of Barb's work is currently showing at PACE Cardio Centre in Barrie beside Little Lake.
