Who are we?
The Barrie Art Club was founded in 1949, in the City of Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Over the past half century it has grown into a vibrant community resource for professional and amateur artists alike, as well as artists-at-heart – those wanting to learn or those just wanting to appreciate art.
The BAC has grown to over two hundred artists working in and around the Barrie area. Our studio/gallery is open weekdays with art for appreciation and sale. Our members can be found creating in a variety of mediums; we welcome everyone from painters to photographers, to fabric artists, anyone with a love to create.
AS A BAC MEMBER, YOU COULD......drop in for open studio time, hone your skills in a focus group, enjoy reduced workshop fees, exhibit your artwork, paint/draw from live models, save money on your art supplies, borrow library resources, connect with other artists...
