Working from a photo reference and drawings, participants will create unique watercolour seascapes using a variety of painting techniques. Step-by-step demonstrations allowing time to paint along will focus on creating texture and movement.

About the Artist

Nancy is an artist, teacher and juror. She is a Director and Past President of the Toronto Watercolour Society (TWS) and a Past President of the Society of York Region Artists (SOYRA). Nancy is an Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, a member of the International Watercolour Society (IWS), Canada and the East Central Ontario Art Association (ECOAA).

Nancy has exhibited her work in many solo and juried group shows. An experienced professional teacher, she conducts live and Zoom workshops for art societies in Southern Ontario. Nancy teaches watercolour at the Haliburton School of Art and Design and at Loyalist College’s Summer Art Experience. Nancy’s CV and work can be seen at
