Transitions: A Journey from Realism to Abstract

Donna Montgomery is a versatile multimedia artist with a background in education. During her career in teaching she earned her Visual Arts Specialist as art was always an important part of her life. While living in Sault Ste. Marie, Donna was an active member of the Algoma Art Society and served as president for two years. Donna creates impressionistic paintings inspired by the beauty of the area where she grew up. She also loves to create colourfully unique and thought provoking non-objective works that start with play, manipulation of media, and experimentation. She now resides in Horsehoe Valley just north of Toronto.
