FULL DAY WORKSHOPMONDAY Workshop
A dynamic portrait, well-executed, will endeavour to capture the inner essence of the subject (from the artist's point of view) or a flattering representation, not just a literal likeness.
Andrew Sookrah will take you through a step-by-step process of creating a portrait, beginning with the study of the basic structure of the human face, the proportions, interconnected relationship of elements of the human face.
We will also cover topics such as the role light plays in defining form and colour, effective brushstrokes, colour mixing, glazing, etc, when working with acrylics.
