Students will gain confidence in their ability to manipulate larger amounts of paint with palette knife, gain freedom in looseness and exactness of image to produce a free more expressive painting.

About the Artist

Olga Senyk has been teaching the fundamentals of art for 35 years, to children (35 years) and adults (20 years). She is a stickler for good drawing 'in perspective' paintings both linear and colour to best achieve competent paintings her students are proud of. This individual instruction is Olga's desire to teach and educate students and equip them with knowledge and practical painting and drawing skills to be able to paint at home. In other words 'set them free' to paint/draw in their particular style. She has taught in several locations in Ontario, and presently conducting several weekly online classes. Olga paints in oil, acrylic and watercolour, and her work has been accepted in juried shows, having won awards, and also on display in many homes. Most importantly, 'Olga loves to teach and see the lights go on for a student'.
