4-class series: $60.00 for members and non- members ($60.00 registration fee, no materials fee)

The students will learn a series of brush loading techniques to create professional results for watercolor painting. These skills apply to gesture drawing and pottery painting. The Chinese Brush will be introduced along with how to paint on rice paper. Meditation is part of Chinese brush painting.The students will learn how the Chinese people created a beautiful painting system that has lasted 2000 years. This class promises amazing results.

Carol has had over 20 years training in traditional Chinese brush painting with award winning Chinese painter Leo Wong. He was a well known Chinese painter in Toronto and Hamilton.   Fumi Toyota was Carol's Sumie (Ink Paintings) teacher for 5 years. Fumi is well known for her artworks in the Mississauga area. Carol has won awards for her artworks and studied art at the U. of T. She sells her paintings in Canada and the U. S.
