Workshop Title
Atmospheric Watercolour Landscapes
Level
  • Intermediate
Medium
Watercolour
Subject / Focus
Creating atmospheric perspective in a watercolour landscape
Class Description
In this class we will be painting a quintessential Ontario lake landscape with a misty distant background and tall pines over the water in the foreground. The light will be shining through the trees. Attendees will learn creating atmospheric perspective, creating misty backgrounds and painting tall pines loosely. We will be examining this reference photo and incorporating what we believe will make a good composition.
About the Artist
Adele truly enjoys the beauty of painting in watercolour, and calls it her therapy! She loves that it can be loose and impressionistic, or tight and detailed. As noted, she has been featured at art shows, and in prominent water colour society publications.
