Class Description
You will learn to create a Rock Cairn, fill with interesting Zentangle patterns (tangles) and use shading and highlighting to create a three dimensional drawing. This skill can be utilized in your other art practices.

Chari-Lynn is a Three Year Honours Graduate of Georgian College School of Design and Visual Arts and a Certified Zentangle Teacher.

Supplies Students Should Bring:

Paint / art media
.01 Sakura Micron Black or equivalent
.05 Sakura Micron Black or equivalent
Graphite pencil 2B
2 Tortillons or paper stomps
Water soluble pencils (I will be using Derwent Inktense) include a light, a medium and a dark of one colour.
White Gel pen
White Chalk of pastel pencil
Art Surface / Support
White paper
Suggestions: Stonehenge, Canson Mixed Media paper or you can work in your sketchbook

Workshop Outline: Complete: All-4 Class Series, 1 only-Single Session, 1 & 2 - Saturday OR Full Day

Session 1
Class will begin with a review of Zentangle techniques. You will then learn to create the structure of the Rock Cairn. Filling each "rock" with a tangle you will complete your project by colouring, shading and highlighting your Rock Cairn.
