Class Description
Anytime you have a few minutes you can create a small piece of art or enter a state of quiet and focus. Making a Zentangle is an abstract, yet intentional process. However, no
expectations get in the way of being in the moment with your pen and tile. The finished results are always pleasing.
About the Artist
Chari-Lynn is a three year Honours Graduate of Georgian College Creative Arts Program and a Certified Zentangle Teacher.

Supplies Students Should Bring:

Paint / art media
ONE of either:
- Black .01 Sakura Pigma Micron
- OR Black Sakura Micron PN
- OR Black Faber-Castell PITT Artist "S"

ONE of either:
- Sakura Gelly Roll 10 - White
- OR Uni-ball Signo Broad - White
Art Surface / Support
- Paper (traditional paper is Fabriano printmaking paper by Stonehenge or other drawing paper will do)
- The instructor's favourite is Stonehenge if Fabriano is not available.
- Any printmaking paper or sketchbook will do.
Supplies and Tools
- Pencil sharpener
- Tortillion or paper stomp (small)

Workshop Outline: Complete: All-4 Class Series, 1 only-Single Session, 1 & 2 - Saturday OR Full Day

Session 1
In class the student will learn:
- The origins and philosophy of Zentangle
- About the tools and materials
- Nomenclature
- At least eight different “tangles” or patterns
- How some people integrate Zentangle into their daily or weekly art practice, and how you can too!

- This will be a complete Basic Zentangle workshop.
